方钻杆旋扣器是钻井过程中，利用风马达作动力，驱动方钻杆旋转，与鼠洞管钻杆卡紧装置(鼠洞钳)配合使用来自动完成接单根的一种专用装置，具有安全、省力、效率高等优点。按API Spec 8C《钻井和采油提升设备规范》设计、制造。
